Extend the life of your pieces with this care!

All of our pieces are made of stainless steel but without a doubt, there are some things you can do to make them last even longer. Although this material is noted and valued for its durability, resistance to high temperatures and quality, the care routine can make a difference in relation to its useful life. Here we are going to share some tips that will help you extend the life of your pieces:

Fragrances uses
  • Apply all types of fragrances before putting on your accessories. Fragrances contain compounds that, when applied directly, could affect the shine and quality of the piece with continuous use.
Store your pieces separately
  • When removing your pieces, store them separately to prevent them from getting tangled together. Chains, especially, get tangled easily, so storing them separately will save you a lot of time. This way, you will only have to choose the piece, put it on and that's it!
Exposure to water
  • One of the properties of stainless steel is that it is highly resistant to both fresh and saltwater. However, when you're engaging in water activities and/or sports, I recommend removing them to avoid losing them. Remember, they are highly water-resistant, but with extended exposure to external elements, they may begin to rust.
Lotion and oil application
  • Apply all types of lotions and/or oils before putting on your accessories. Lotions and oils contain elements that, when applied directly, could affect the shine and quality of the piece with continuous use.
Bedtime
  • No matter the material of the accessory you are wearing, it is important that you remove them before bedtime. When sleeping, the accessory could be damaged depending on the design and material. Especially with earrings, remember that they can also get stuck between the sheets or even cause damage. From now on, it's better to sleep relaxed and naturally!
